Before I start with the new projects for 2021, here some final considerations about my Black and White Tales project and the presentation of the book.

I kept the book very simple, with a short version of the tales and just location and camera used for each picture.

After a year, the most strange, upsetting and confusing year of my life, the Black and White Tales project arrived at its end.

A project that helped me stay alive in this crazy world.

I hope you enjoyed it, now is time for me for some postpartum depression and I will be back in January with other projects to share with you.

The project is almost done and I decided to close a circle.

This image was taken in the same place and with the same subject as the Black and White Tale #1. Around 35 years between the 2 images and a lot of similarities and differences!

This week I got inspired by a comment from Christian Speck on my last Tale video.

First, check is website ‘case is worth. Second, he suggested me a book: Code Zero by Marc Elsberg. A very intriguing book and the inspiration for this Tale.

Another week and few more to go before the end of this project.

A week that made me think how we arrived at the use of atomic bombs to stop a war after more than 60 millions casualties. What was the point of no return that brought the world to the tragedy of a world war?

To keep the mind awake, specially in lock downs, books are a great tool.

This image is inspired by a Buzzati’s novel. Not the right book to read right now, being a little bit too much kafkian, but a book that came to my mind this week and inspired this picture years ago.

A lot of things are going on right now.

The most important is the vote for the presidential elections in USA.
Dear Americans, vote wisely so I can continue to work on my plans and keep my dreams. If not, I will have to switch to survival mode, exactly as my parents and grandparents did in the 1940s.

The Covid anxiety is back. Media, here in Italy, push continuous news about the cases count and create panic. The numbers don’t add up, but who cares, all they care about is creating enough panic to justify the socialist government grab of power.

In this environment I was thinking at the good old days when the news came from newspapers, just once a day.
